Itinerary: Patagonia in 10 Days

DAY 1

Flight from New York to Buenos Aires (overnight)

DAY 2

Arrive Buenos Aires. If you have more than 10 days, would recommend spending some time in Buenos Aires. If not, it’s time to continue your journey! There are two main airports in Buenos Aires EZE and AEP. AEP has more flights to El Calafate (if possible it’s best to fly into AEP, if not a transfer between the two airports is possible, but good to give yourself at least 4-5 hours, a cab is about $40).

• Flight from Buenos Aires to El Calafate

• Picked up Rental Car from Dubrovnik

• Dinner and Night @ Blanca Patagonia

DAY 3

• Breakfast at Hotel (each day of the trip started with a lovely breakfast spread included at all hotels)

• Perito Moreno Glacier including Boat Trip and Boardwalk Hike

• Lunch at Nativos de La Patagonia

• Hot Tub at Blanca Patagonia

• Dinner at Pura Vida

• Night in El Calafate @ Blanca Patagonia

DAY 4

• Drive to El Chalten (3hrs)

• Checked into Hotel Destino Sur

• Explore Town/Area

• Lunch at Techado Negro

• Hike to Salto El Chorrillo Waterfall

• Other half-day hike options: Glacier Huemul, Los Cóndores, Las Águilas, Laguna Capri

• Hot tub relaxing and spa at hotel

• Dinner at Hotel

• Night in El Chalten @ Destino Sur

DAY 5

• Half-Day Hike to Los Condores: Other options Glacier Huemul, Los Cóndores, Las Águilas, Laguna Capri

• Lunch @ La Wafleria

• Half-Day Hike or Exploring/Shopping in Town

• Dinner @ La Cava Restobar

DAY 6

• ALL DAY HIKE - Cerro Torre/Laguna Torre 24km OR Laguna de los Tres 26km (more challenging)

• Picnic Lunch provided by Hotel Destino Sur

• Apres-Hike hot tub at hotel

• Dinner @ Parrilla La Oveja Negra

• Night in El Chalten @ Destino Sur

DAY 7

• Drive from El Chalten, Argentina to Torres Del Pain, Chile (8hrs) (see post on crossing the border!)

• Stop for Lunch in El Calafate @ Mako

• Continue Drive

• Check into Rio Serrano Hotel & Spa

• Relax and explore grounds of hotel

• Dinner and Night in TDP @ Rio Serrano

DAY 8

• Half Day Spa/Half Day Adventure

• Adventure Options: Horseback Riding, Riverboat Cruise, Short Hikes

• Night in TDP @ Rio Serrano

DAY 9

• FULL DAY BUS TOUR of Torres Del Paine includes lunch

• Night in TDP @ Rio Serrano

DAY 10

• Drive from Torres Del Paine back to El Calafate (5hrs)

• Flight from El Calafate to Buenos Aires

• Transfer airports, flight from Buenos Aires to NYC
